Lanche grátis | Free snack

 

O sol estava preguiçoso e teimava em ficar encolhido entre as nuvens. As nuvens por seu lado, estavam embrulhadas umas nas outras e faziam adivinhar muita chuva. Mas estava tudo preparado para uma tarde de pescaria, e o Manuel não desistiu.  Arrumou o isco, preparou um lanche reforçado, deu uma vista de olhos final ao equipamento e partiu para a beira mar.

O sol entretanto, deixou-se de preguiças, estendeu os seus raios com confiança e lá conseguiu furar por entre as nuvens. Afastou-as e lá foram elas juntar-se umas ás outras para mais longe, deixando o Manuel com uma tarde de luz para a sua pescaria.

Como que chamados pelo sol, as aves da beira-mar, deixaram os seus abrigos e na expectativa de um lanche grátis, posicionaram-se estrategicamente junto do Manuel, crocitando ocasionalmente, como a fazer claque pelo seu sucesso.

E assim, animado pelo sol e pelo apoio das aves, a pescaria do Manuel foi um sucesso! E sim, claro que partilhou o sucesso com a claque improvisada.

The sun was lazy and stubbornly huddled between the clouds. The clouds, for their part, were tangled up, suggesting heavy rain. But everything was ready for an afternoon of fishing, and Manuel didn't give up. He packed his bait, prepared a hearty snack, gave his equipment a final check, and set off for the seashore.

Meanwhile, the sun, having overcome its laziness, confidently extended its rays and managed to pierce through the clouds. It pushed them away, and up they went to gather together further away, leaving Manuel with a bright afternoon for his fishing.

As if encouraged by the sun, the seabirds left their shelters and, expecting a free snack, strategically positioned themselves near Manuel, occasionally chirping, as if cheering on his success.

And so, encouraged by the sun and the support of the birds, Manuel's fishing trip was a success! And yes, of course he shared the success with the makeshift cheering section.
