Catálogo 2020 | Catalogue 2020

Já tenho em mãos, o catálogo 2020 e tal como fiz o ano passado, deixo aqui o meu comentário.

Considerações gerais:

- Se o ano passado já se notava, este ano é impossível não reparar: o fantástico tomou conta do catálogo 2020. Aos top agents, anões e fadas, juntam-se este ano os cavaleiros de Novelmore e a polícia galáctica;

- As licenças aumentaram também, tornando-se já numa parte significativa do catálogo. A somar aos caça-fantasmas, porsche, dragões e spirit, temos agora o regresso ao futuro, o scooby-doo e a heidi;

- Parece que as figuras colleccionáveis estão também a ganhar um grande destaque: além das já tradicionais séries e aos playmo-friends, temos agora as (no mínimo) estranhas everdreamerz.

Pontos fortes:

- Os sets relativos a veículos (oficina, posto de abastecimento, reboque)

- Os sets relativos à construcção (gruas, escavadoras, camiões)

- A grande casa de bonecas, que faz lembrar as saudosas mansões victorianas

Pontos fracos:

- Abandono do tema western e redução significativa da aposta em sets de temas tradicionais: história, piratas, cavaleiros;

- Dispersão na tipologia de figuras coleccionáveis, quer no tipo de figuras, temas ou até na embalagem... parece não haver propriamente um fio condutor entre todos...

- As maletas. Não percebo porque é que estes sets vêem dentro de maletas de plástico de cores diferentes... Fala-se tanto na necessidade de reduzir plástico... Na minha opinião mais valia criarem uma caixa de arrumação gira, versátil e útil, para arrumarmos os clicks!

I already have in my hands the 2020 catalogue. As i did last year, here is my review.

General considerations:

- If last year you could see it, this year, it's impossible to miss it: the fantastic as taken over this year's catalogue. Adding to top agents, dwarves and fairies, we now have novelmore knights and galactic police;

- Licensed products are more, becoming an important part of the all catalogue. We now have back to the future, scooby-doo and heidi, as well ghostbusters, spirit, porsche and dragons;

- It seems that the collectible figures are gainning their space: we now have those crazy figures, called everdreamerz.

Strenghts:

- Sets related to vehicles (car repair shop, car trailer and gas station);

- Sets related to construction site (bulldozer, crane, trucks);

- The big doll house. It remind me the old victorian mansion.

Weakness:

- Abandonment of western theme and significant reduction of the traditional themes: knights, history and pirates;

- Dispersion on the collective figures: the tipe of figures, the theme, and even package are so dispaired... seems like it's missing a central thread to conect them all...

- The carry cases. I don't get the reason why those sets are inside those plastic cases and in different colors... The need to reduce plastic is the order of the day, and i just don't get it. In my opinion, they should make some creative and fancy and usefull storage boxes, instead of this.
