Um galinheiro exigente | A demanding hen house

Estas galinhas são umas mimadas. É só eu descuidar-me um pouco com a limpeza do espaço delas e logo se nota os ovos a diminuírem. Ali o galaró é um esquisitinho, basta estar alguma coisa fora do sítio e lá vem ele bicar-me os calcanhares até ter restabelecido a ordem do espaço.

É um condomínio particularmente exigente, mas em contrapartida, tenho os ovos mais jeitosos dos arredores. Por isso, de nenhuma destas galinhas faço cabidela. Vivem aqui felizes, mesmo quando já põem poucos ou nenhuns ovos, até que faleçam de morte natural.

Ali o rei do galinheiro apesar de esquisitinho, tem feito um bom trabalho. A sua descendência é imensa e poderosa. Deve ter descendentes em quase todos os galinheiros das redondezas. E o chinfrim que ele faz, mal algum animal se aproxima da capoeira? Sejam os gatos ou os cães da quinta, sejam raposas ou saca-rabos, ele cacareja que nem um doido, a defender o seu castelo.

Se eu fosse galinha, acho que não me importava de viver neste condomínio!

 

These chicken are kind of spoiled. If i neglect just a tinny little bit cleaning their space, the eggs automatically decrease in quantity. Over there, the rooster is so funny. If there’s something out of place in the hen house, it start to bite my heels, until i have everything in place.

This is a demanding condominium, but in the other hand, i have the most magnificent eggs of the surrondings. Therefore, none of these animals end up in the pot. They live here, quietly till the end of their lives, even when they don’t give any more eggs.

The king of the hen as been doing quite a good job. It’s offsprings are plenty and powerful and are present in almost every hen house nearby. And the noise he makes as soon as any animal comes near the hen? Whether be the farm cats or dogs, or even a fox or a mongoose, it cackles loudly to defend it’s castle.

If i were a chicken, i guess i wouldn’t mind to live in this condominium!
